Brean Murray, Carret & Co. Continues Expansion of Research Department and Healthcare Franchise with the Addition of Bret D. Jones, CFA

New York, NY, May 8, 2009 – Brean Murray, Carret & Co. announced the addition of Bret D. Jones, CFA to the BMC Equity Research team as a Vice President and Senior Analyst. Mr. Jones will cover Healthcare IT and Distribution, and will work out of BMC’s New York City office.

Prior to joining Brean Murray Carret & Co., Mr. Jones was Senior Analyst at Leerink Swann & Co., where he was named II’s Best Up and Comer for HCIT & Distribution.  Previous to Leerink Swann & Co, he was a Research Associate at SG Cowen & Co., LLC in Medical Devices & Technology. A graduate of Florida State University and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, he also served four years in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman.
