NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2006--Julie J. Chen has joined Brean Murray, Carret & Co. as Vice President and Senior Analyst covering small cap Chinese companies listed on US exchanges. She will be based in New York and will be supported by the firm's research staff based in Beijing. With experience at Unterberg Towbin and New York Global Securities, a China equity research boutique, Ms. Chen holds an M.S. in Mathematics from Claremont University (Claremont, California) and an MBA from Fordham.
